Could you start by telling me a bit about the Extension Chair? I transformed chairs by looking at how people use them.

Gravity Stool by Amsterdam-based designer Jólan van der Wiel is a project that if nothing else, it’s quite magical. Using a combination of gravity and magnetic fields, he’s able to sculpt these organically shaped stools that are unique and one-of-a-kind. So, how does he do it? Well, to begin with he’s concocted a mixture of liquid plastic and iron.

Designed by Constantin Wortmann , the NLC is manufactured by Next Home Collection out of Amsterdam. Available in black, white, or silver, the unique pendant light is made from durable ABS. The description of the NLC on Next’s website states that the inspiration is “as much from the head of Medusa as from the finely trellised branches of a treetop.” The NLC has six bulbs at the end of each “branch” that is shielded by a white cover.

Room Moments I / II are two rugs by Amsterdam-based designer Franziska Wernicke . From the designer: A story or moment unfolds. The dye becomes an image and communicates with its surroundings, the 2D rug as a frame of dimension. The rug opens up the dimensions of the room, playing with perspectives, 2 D and 3D and the viewers’ perception of composition and construction. The rugs can be placed on the floor or the wall.
