    Jeb Jones is an American furniture design and production company created by designer and artist John Eric Byers. John’s one-of-a-kind pieces have been honored with numerous awards and grants and reside in the permanent collections of several national museums, including the Museum of Arts & Design in New York and the Smithsonian American Art Museum . This year he will be included in the Archives of American Art ‘s oral history program for his contributions as a leading American artist working in wood. John will debut his line next month at ICFF .     Belgian artist and furniture designer/maker Peter Donders has created two unique pieces of seating out of carbon fiber created by twisting it around a piece of molded foam, and then removing the foam. Both the C-Bench and C-Stone seem light and airy, but they are very sturdy. If you’re interested, you can buy a limited edition piece through Outdoorz Gallery .     American artist Boris Bally has created these fun Transit Chairs and Tables available at Outdoorz Gallery .Bally uses recycled street signs as a celebration of a raw American street-aesthetic. Bally uses his skills as a jeweler, combining them with sculpting and industrial design to create a chair that is crafted for functional use that also considers the original street sign.

    This is the coolest thing I have seen in while. British artist Luke Jerram brings “Play Me, I’m Yours” to NYC! This touring project makes sixty pianos available to play all across the city. All in public places and available to anyone!

    From now until July 5th and from 9am until 10pm each day. They are located in parks, streets, and plazas. For all of the locations of the pianos and to upload pictures of yourself enjoying them check out their site here. It’s as fun as it sounds!
