Another Ceramic Candlestick designed by Marie Dessuant for the British furniture brand Another Country was launched during the London Design Festival . Each candlestick, which is made of a ceramic lid on a turned oak base, sits atop a box that can be used for storage or keeping belongings safe. I love that they resemble pots and pans, but also are reminiscent of old-timey candleholders. The British debut follows the product’s premier at the Interieur show in Belgium last year , where the Dutch duo put forth the forms upholstered in a dozen different shades of 100% wool felt.
British designer Charlie Crowther-Smith (who you may remember from the popular Night Light Table ) sent me over a new coffee table he created called Pinch. It gets its name because of the way the table top is clasped — or pinched — by the legs. The table is made of mesquite with bright green legs. © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook
