Korean design duo THE:Zoom is behind this clever series of furniture called Project ZIP:PER that was inspired by, you guessed it, zippers. They took your everyday zipper that’s normally seen sewn into fabric and incorporated the idea of it into these playful pieces of furniture. The stark white color of each piece let’s the quirky form shine through with the illusion that each design is being zipped (or unzipped) up.

I feel like someone at Joseph Joseph was listening to me the last time I ate edamame and made this bowl especially for me. Probably not the case, but still what a clever idea! Check out all their new items so hot they’re not even up on the website yet! Double Dish Serve snacks in a small dish and hide waste in the collection dish underneath. It’s perfect for olives, shelled nuts and edamame beans. It can also be used as two separate dishes, it’s dishwasher safe and available in three color combinations: white and green, full green, full white. Rotary Peeler A compact triple bladed peeler (with three stainless steel blades: standard blade, soft-skin blade and Julienne blade) the Rotary Peeler has a stainless steel eye-remover and it’s easy to clean (unclipping the case).

If you’re a bit clumsy or you just enjoy clever design, you’ll definitely want to check out these Link Mugs. Sold as a set of three, these mugs link together to make them easier to carry. Simple but smart, I definitely like the design idea. See more from Jonathan Aspinall here .
