In Milan, Poltrona Frau introduced the GranTorino upholstery collection designed by Jean-Marie Massaud . Inspired by the world of saddlery, this modular sofa includes a combination of fabric with sleek, hand-cut, hand-shaped Saddle Leather. The leather molds the lines and structure of the seat, including the upper part of the backrest as well as the armrests and sides. My favorite aspect of this series is the leather cover the folds over and is fastened with steel rivets. The large box-like structure actually opens up and acts as storage, and functions as a table or oversized armrest when closed

The Leather Collection by Maarten De Ceulaer for Nilufar is a collection of artistic, sculptural storage pieces that reflect the designer’s great passion for traveling and exploring the world. Like totems to travel, these towers and piles of suitcases in various leathers were created in collaboration with one of the most renowned leather artisans in Belgium, Ralph Baggaley. Each suitcase looks to be intricately and carefully made, tailored to reflect the luxurious and sophisticated of all nomads. In the flexible Chest of Suitcases , every drawer can be positioned to any direction, so the chest can be placed against a wall or in the middle of a room, so that the drawers can open from all sides. The Pile of Suitcases , which was the first piece in the collection, was thoughtfully assembled to make sure each section housed a particular type of garment.

Bright Beads is a lighting collection by Australian designer Coco Reynolds of Marz Designs . The core range includes six pendant configurations named Aztec, Abacus, Art, Aleenta, Africa and Alice. They can be grouped together to form a chandelier or used as a single pendant. Handcrafted from FSC-certified wood (oak, walnut, maple, and ash), each turned wooden bead is a testament to traditional craft, something that Coco Reynolds is very passionate about. You can purchase them at various retailers and through the Marz Designs website

ACME Furniture is one of the largest furniture manufactures in the United States. The company has six different branch locations, including New York City, New Jersey, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta and San Francisco. With so many different service branches, ACME Furniture is able to reach the vast majority of the country, without over extending itself. ACME recently purchased and developed a 400,000 square foot warehouse in Los Angeles, where the company ships out orders in under two days, with very little wait time, as the facility houses 12 million dollars worth of inventory at all times. This way, over 90 percent of the orders are filled within the initial 48 hour span.

ACME Furniture uses a large amount of products from Malaysian factories. Some other factories provide additional features and material, including those located in Brazil, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. Due to the long term relationship ACME has with the different factories, it is possible for ACME to receive a significant discount on the furniture, and this is reflected in the price and the consumer is able to save a good amount of money by buying ACME Furniture, instead of going with a different brand.

There are several different kinds of material provided by ACME Furniture. These are broken down into family room, dining room and kitchen, home office and more rooms (which is essentially just side rooms that have no real classification, or don’t have enough furniture designs to be considered its own room collection). With so many different room furniture options, it is possible for anyone to locate and decorate their entire house with furniture from the ACME Furniture company.

When it comes to the family room, ACME Furniture produces furniture ranging from couches and love seats, sleepers that fold out from traditional couches, side tables and coffee tables. A large supply of mattresses are available, California King bedrooms and sets give the largest available size of mattress and bed style, while ACME Furniture also sells Eastern King bedrooms, queen size bedroom sets, twin bedroom sets, bunk and day beds and full size bedrooms. This way, no matter the size and no matter the overall style, it is all found right here at ACME Furniture, so there is really no reason to look anywhere else.

Dining room and kitchen comes with mostly different table and chair decorations, although outdoor furniture and occasional tables are also part of this collection, should a specific table or look be desired for the house. Home office chairs, desks, cabinets and other equipment can be purchased at ACME Furniture, along with other material to fill out the house.

ACME Furniture is one of the largest furniture manufactures not only in the United States, but in the entire world. As ACME works closely with the developer and the produce selling companies in Asia, ACME Furniture is able to receive a significant discount on just about every item, and these prices are reflected in the prices, allowing clients to save on almost everything.

I pretty much love everything in the entire collection. I won’t be going to the October High Point Market this year, but you can bet that this would be at the top of my list of must-sees.
Modern design has spread through home furnishings over time and over the last few years, planters are finally getting their dues. Landscape designer Shannon Lester started Steel Life and has come out with a line of bold and bright planters as part of The Desert Collection . The pieces are individually made using salvaged and upcycled metal. The Shallow Root Vessel (first image also) eliminates the need for lots of soil and water due to its shallow depth, making it perfect for succulents. I love that you don’t have to use them exclusively as planters – the various-sized Mod Dish designs ( Mezzo Mod Dish above) are a great dish to hold fruit or any of your collections.
