    This stunning pendant is part of Moonbasket, a project started by designer and artist Dani Le Roy from Cape Town. This community based project involves a dynamic team of people and all natural materials like string and braids made from cotton and jute.

    The unique quality of each of these lamps combines with their simple, honest look to create their luxurious appeal. In fact, the artists’ idea was to emphasize the point that crochet is one of the few crafts that can only be done by people and not replaced by machines, and that honest handmade beauty is certainly apparent here.
