    UK-based designer and craftsman Sam Scott uses the scraps that pile up in the corner of an East London workshop to create surprisingly modern and artistic furniture. Working with Tim Greany and Dom Shanks as Constructive and Co., Sam considers his work like the LEGO of the cabinet-making world – piecing wood together to build creative and – at time – eye-popping creations. He will be showing his work at Canary Wharf in a new exhibition that runs through mid-November.     Tieme Rietveld is a young Dutch interior designer and craftsman specialized in one of a kind, hand made design interior pieces. Over the last six years he created a name for himself in the Dutch interior and fashion scene with a few big assignments such as the interior of Tommyz Toko, one of the Netherlands’ most famous hairdress studios. Tieme does both small requests and big productions and works for both individuals and companies. The Webster bookcase was a piece he made for a customer in Amsterdam.

    Cut Glasses Chandelier This chandelier has its roots in the past but its heart in the present. Available as a single drop of 150 glasses (150+1) or double drop of 300 glasses (the +1 refers to John himself being the final craftsman who has brought together generations of others to create a truly unique work). LEGO Chandelier The desire for a focal piece in the hotel bedroom that would sit comfortably in the Victorian building but would give the youth and vigor of a contemporary clientele gave rise to the Lego Chandelier. http://www.johnharringtondesign.com
