Materials: Lack TV stand, four mid-century legs, wall pop stickers (orange), plywood, foam board Description: I submitted the Fullen Bar hack a while ago, and since I am never satisfied with my living room, this week I decided to tackle my lack TV stand. I recently "inherited" some mid-century furniture legs which I used to replace the short, chunky lack legs. NEW LEGS - The lack TV stand particle board was not strong enough to hold the screws for the new legs so I had a half inch thick plywood board cut to 54"x18". - I attached the legs to the corners of the board, making a bench. - I then attached the Lack TV stand to the plywood bench with three inch screws.

Materials: ÄPPLARÖ Description: Materials: Ikea ÄPPLARÖ wall panel Description: I looked and looked for a simple headboard for my queen size metal bed frame (the typical kind with four casters and holes for attaching a headboard and footboard), but couldn't find a suitable one anywhere. After finding the Ikea Hackers website, I decided that I'd be creative and "hack" myself a headboard. My requirements were these: - It had to be lightweight and easily moveable (I rent and I like to move my furniture around). - It had to be affordable (I set myself a budget of no more than 99 dollars). - It had to be around 62-63 inches wide (to properly fit the width of the queen bed frame).

I connected two EXPEDIT 2x2 with the side panel of an EXPEDIT 4x4 using the safety brackets that are used to tie furniture to the wall.
Materials: Besta Shelf Unit, two Inreda Half Shelves, black and white checkered contact paper, self adhesive vinyl tiles (12inx12in from Home Depot - wood look for kitchen and tile look for bathroom), currogated cardboard (Save Besta box!) and ultra plush fabric for carpeted rooms (more plush than fleece), poster board and scrapbook paper (12inx12in) for walls, doll furniture (See Description for more details), utility knife, straight edge, rubber cement, spray adhesive, mounting squares, mini hooks, storage containers, metal wire saran wrap holder, plastic mirror sheet Description: This was designed for a small space in a room shared by my 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. If you have more space or only girls you may want to modify this by adding more Besta units, taking away the garage etc. Please note that the "garage" is not big enough to hold American Girl/Our Generation sized cars
