Designer Arik Levy takes lighting to a whole new level with his latest for Vibia called WIREFLOW. Composed of thin rods, the geometrical sculptures appear to be almost like two dimensional line drawings. Take a step to the left or right and you see that some are even three dimensional forms suspended in the air holding LED lights

The design was digitally printed with a Voronoi pattern embedded into the bright blue material, making it fit into most modern homes. The geometric design is varied but opens up around the center part of the cage to give the birds an optimum view while looking out.
There is something of a trend going on lately of these types of cage-like geometric designs – from Ana Cláudia’s jewelry to Dave Hulsbergen’s lamps and I’m digging it. So that’s probably why I also like Mambo’s new series of three Star pendant lamps created for the ETTERO collection. I love the random placement of the lines, too as if they were growing organically like branches or bone. And, +1 for brass.

German product designer Anne Boenisch creates home furnishings that are both functional, and most definitely, sculptural. Most of the products contain strong geometric qualities with beautiful shapes and lines. These are her latest pieces: The MOTION collection consists of a folding stool and table that utilize stainless steel bolts in the frame and seat, allowing the piece to be “stretched and squeezed” horizontally. I love that it can be flattened when not in use.

The Crochet and Styroware pieces are so unique and completely fun to stare at. I love the textures and shapes that he creates along with the added touches of gold or silver and even cotton. Copper covers a wooden frame in these geometric shapes that extend from the wall giving a far more beautiful look than your average mirror. They are minimal in design but with an edge.
