    When I first saw this chair by Reza Aliabadi and Lailee Soleimani I thought, oh wait, it’s backwards! But, I was wrong — it tricks the eye. Originally designed as a dining chair for a boutique restaurant in Toronto, the R-01 chair is a simple, minimal chair that can be used occasionally as well. Made of brushed steel and painted plywood, the chair’s silhouette is basic and comfortable with no frills.
