Michela and Paolo Baldessari of Baldessari e Baldessari designed a giant clothes pin out of cedar for Italian company RIVA 1920 . Called the Molletta bench, this pop-art style seat is perfect for indoors or out – I can definitely see it outside an art museum. Part sculpture, part furniture, the bench is masterfully carved from solid wood. I used to stick clothes pins on my fingers and pretend I had really long nails. I certainly wouldn’t want to stick my finger (or any other body part) into this one, though
