The August Smart Lock is a new lock and access system, designed by Yves Behar’s fuseproject in partnership with Jason Johnson, that will change the way you, your house guests, and visitors enter your house. Gone are the annoying house keys that you have to fumble for when your hands are full or the key you have to give to your house cleaners – they’re replaced with a virtual key that you can send to people you want to give access to, all via your phone. See the lock in action: August Smart Lock works with your existing deadbolts and the brilliant thing about it is that your virtual key can never be copied. You can grant certain people access for specific periods of time and then disable it when you want to

In using the circle as their starting point, Taurus has created a circular design that serves as the basis for an unprecedented seating furniture from which there are innumerable possible configurations. Two equal-sized circles constitute the basic design from which a wide range of geometrically formed seating-accommodations can be created. With its design of centric circles, every combination forms a continuous pattern of geometric elements whose singularity is underlined by fine quilting seams.

Dune is a modular furniture system consisting of five combinable modules: each one of them is molded out of an whole fiber cement-panel. Fiber cement is a 100% natural and fully recyclable material for full time outdoor usage. From the designer: With Dune I wanted to tell a story about the materials capabilities, the history of the company and the hand formed production method.
