Inspired by the simple slip-on wooden clothes pin (or “peg”), Canadian designer William McDonald designed a lamp that functions in the same way. Called Peg Lamp , the lamp uses minimal materials like aluminum, wood and felt to create a simple sliding mechanism so the user can adjust the light as needed.
