At Pinch , our method to convincing people to try something new is by luring them with something familiar and then spinning it. That’s why when it comes to designing our “food furniture,” we try to only use materials you can find in the kitchen. Along with the most obvious — wood, marble and stainless steel — lie more intriguing materials like silicone and our current favorite: COPPER. In architecture, we see copper applied to roofs, gutters, doors… since it is corrosion resistant and lightweight.

An asymmetrical, geometric mirror that’s full of equilateral triangles? Shut up and take my money! The latest offering from Enzyma is the Gianluca Sgalippa-designed mirror called Derma and it’s full of all of those things and more. The irregular hexagonal mirror situates itself between two modules that feature fluorescent segments of color within the grooves of the triangle grid. The medium and anthracite grays of the frame not only make the blackened mirror pop, but the bright bursts of neon as well.

Get ready for some serious cuteness. Sorry, I just had to go there. This little guy is a napkin cup , made by the creative minds at Royal VKB and Officeoriginair . I know this seems like a silly design, but think about the last time you had a barbecue and how all your napkins blew away

I love how wine collections grow organically as we pick up bottles from time to time, but the problem lies in where to store them. You gather more than three or four on your counter and you’re starting to look like a messy lush. Luckily STACT has us covered, or at least our walls covered. The modular wall units are a modern and affordable solution to store your wine to avoid cluttering up your kitchen counters.

Dansk is a three-piece collection of outdoor furniture designed by Povl Eskildsen and Phillip Behrens for Gloster . With a nod to 50′s Danish design, the set will give you a bit of a vintage classic feel mixed with modern, for a clean, simple look. Combining warm wood and classic white, the lounge chair, coffee table, and side table make for the perfect minimal set for any patio. The pieces all feature tapered teak legs that support the white acrylic stone of the tables and the waterproof faux leather upholstered seat of the chair

Designer Benjamin Rollins Caldwell, of BRC Designs , is known for creating furniture in unusual materials and I’d say stained glass fits in that category. Mosaic Chair 02 references mid-century design with its low, angular frame, a frame that looks like a stained glass window. Inspired by “the abstract nature of stained glass windows,” the faceted chair is made up of half inch frosted tempered glass that is inset into a black, auto paint-covered steel frame. The goose down cushions are covered in lamb shearling that’s dyed red. The hard angles of the frame are balanced out with the softness of the cushions, making this one functional piece of art.
