Happy Friday! How have the first two days of December been treating you?

After a break from last Friday, it’s nice to be back with a Weekly Six. As always, if you’ve read anything this week you want to share, please do so in the comments! Here are my faves from the past week:

1) Aren’t these Not Knot pillows fun? They’d make a great gift this season!

2) Have you sent out your holiday cards yet? It’s still a bit early, I know but these sparkly letterpress cards are one of my favorites.

3) I might have to order myself some of these delicious-looking chocolates that Oh Joy! was snacking on this week.

4) If you have a second, definitely check out this project called The States, in which the designer fills the outline of each state with something different. I’ll admit, some states were difficult for me to figure out!

5) I need one of these in my office. Gotta look into this immediately!

6) How awesome is this lamp? It’s made from one single sheet of paper folded into a dimensional design.

Happy Friday!! How are you spending the first lovely weekend of November? Will it be even lovelier due to the hour we’ll gain from Daylight Savings Time?

Here are this week’s Weekly Six links to check out, as collaged above!

1) Wouldn’t this Cookies and Cream Oreo Bark be a great dessert item to bring to parties this holiday season?

2) I keep going back to check out these colorful Bfrend bracelets – they’ll make great gifts! (For others and for myself!)

3) The lights lining the floor and going up the wall to the ceiling in this image are so festive – I definitely need to do something like this in my home for the holidays!

4) Here’s another fun thing to do with Christmas lights – poke them through canvas for a bright display.

5) The Holiday Gift Guide by Emily Henderson will not only give you great gift ideas, but also several fun DIYs for gift-giving and decorating.

6) How cool is this Inlamp by Sai Design Studio? Instead of typical lamps that stay on display whether on or off, the Inlamp has its own special cabinet for when not in use.

What fabulous things have you seen this week? We’d love for you to share them!

Happy Friday!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Ladies, if you do – maybe you should consider this adorable 1960s hairdo for whatever fun fiesta or outing you may be attending.

Even though it’s still morning, I saw this mac n’ cheese over at Happiness Is… and I can’t fight the cravings! I might have to make the recipe from Gojee this weekend.

As far as fashion goes, check out this new unique watch from Nooka or these endearing bracelets from Gracelette that donate to the homeless.

If you have a few minutes, check out this beautiful tree house. Would you want to live in one of these? I think I would!

And finally, a fun filing cabinet project to add some fabulousness to your office.

What’s on your link list this week? Do share!

No matter what your plans, be sure to squeeze in some time to enjoy the weekly 6:

  2. Wouldn’t it be fun to serve warm soups and chilis in these funky bowls supported by feet?
  3. Try a new recipe such as these seasonal pumpkin whoopie pies
  4. Or add some sparkle to a dessert with gold edible glitter.

Friday Five with Michael Graves

Sometimes I book a Friday Five and I feel like I need to end the column and go out like Seinfeld – on a high note. This is one of those Friday Fives… but don’t stick a fork in me just yet… Michael Graves , FAIA, has been in the forefront of architecture and design since he founded his practice in 1964. His two firms — Michael Graves & Associates, the architecture and interior design practices, and Michael Graves Design Group, the product design and graphic design practices — have designed over 350 buildings worldwide and over 2,000 products including both building components such as lighting, hardware, bath and kitchen products, and a wide variety of consumer products for home, office and personal use (including his awesome collection for Target ). Michael Graves and the firms have received over 200 awards for design excellence, and Graves has received 13 honorary doctorates.
