So as cool as it might be, it’s kind of impractical to have a tree inside. Fear not though, you can still enjoy perfectly cleaned air with the Air Tree. From designer Seung Jun Jeong, this modern “tree” cleans your air via a HEPA filter. It sucks the air in, removes all of its impurities, and releases the refreshed air out from its top. Definitely a good use paired with a modern look that almost makes it double as a sculpture. Throw in some cool LED lights and I’m sold.

This project questions contemporary furniture design, from the concept of multipurpose use and uncertain quality (due to rationalized industrial production), to the ambition or desire for durability. Products are envisaged in a non-fixed state, to be extended or lengthened, according to uses which vary and evolve over time.
