Form Follows Data Mug

Iohanna Pani’s Form Follows Function contains this particularly lovely mug. I really like this; it reminds me of topographic maps or the sides of a canyon. http://iohidesign.carbonmade.com Related posts: Magnolia House in Japan by Form/Kouichi Kimura Architects Uni Form Furniture ©2009 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | 4 comments Sponsored Topics: Form Follows Function – Jaime – Topographic map – Mug – Shopping

Among my favorites is his To Be Continued Series.  Consisting of a bench, coffee table, cabinet, and side board, the goal of this collection is to create recognizable uniqueness within a series that is being mass produced.

Cipria

What do you think of this? New from Italian furniture company Edra, the Cipria Settee is defiantly the focal point of any room.  Designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana , this sofa recently made its debut at Salone Di Mobile Milano.  It’s definitely different, but at the same time I’d kind of like to be sitting on it right now.

Recover your armchair

Jill B got sorta sick of the outdated fabric. She says, “Ikea makes such nice fabric by the yard. Why don’t they use it on the furniture?” So she updated it with a new cover she sewed herself.

TV Tub?

I’m all about technology, but I have to say even I think this is a bit much.  Karim Rashid (who don’t get me wrong I think is great) has introduced this chic tub with a built in TV!  I love the look of the tub, so modern and just waiting to be installed in the master bathroom I don’t have yet. But the TV is just a bit much don’t you think? I’m just curious to hear your thoughts – I’m sure there are plenty of people who would love to watch TV in the tub.
