When we were setting up our new home, buying the furniture had to be just right because it is something that is going to stay with us for a long time. Since it was a new home with a modern architecture, we wanted something that would complement the contemporary look of the house. We also wanted a platform bed because it is convenient. We wanted to have it also because of the bold and sturdy look it holds.

Bingo when we found this Modern Platform Bed! It came with a black finish done in matte. Understated modernism – as my neighbor loves to call it. We placed it against our glass French windows, which open into our yard. The sunlight illuminates the furniture and makes it look very attractive. Still, it gives the room a cool soothing look. It is not only a great design, but also very practical. The nightstands came with a drawer each and an open storage shelf under it. There is plenty of storage space in the dresser with many drawers. We no longer have a cluttered dresser or for that matter, a cluttered room. Indeed, it does offer some unique solutions for storage. The twin mirrors for the dresser are not only a distinctive feature of the set, but also very handy. We no longer have squabbles for mirror space when getting ready for work every morning, because we have our own mirror space!  In addition, the material used in this set is very user friendly. Even with kids, ours has proved to be scratch resistant, partly, I think, because of the matte finish.

It is a robust furniture set, which we believe is going to last for a lifetime. We are happy with this investment. It looks great in our room. We sleep sound in this perfection every night.
