Materials: Two Lack side tables. Antonius top Description: I needed an ottoman for my couch, but since it was only a cheap Klobo sofa, I decided to make one. Then I realised I needed a new coffee table, because my existing one was much lower than the ottoman. But my ottoman was so big, I only had enough room for a small lack side table.

Materials: BILLY height extension unit, BILLY wall shelf, veneer strips, stain Description: I needed horizontal wall cabinets that would run the length of the wall and give me all the space I wanted without compromising on style. So I took a few store-bought IKEA items and turned them into a one-of-a-kind fully customized shelf unit.

Materials: 2 x standard Besta open shelves, Faktum doors, wood panel Description: I needed a thin cabinet for one side of my very small kitchen. The 20cm wide Besta open shelves were exactly the right width. However, the wall would not support the weight of the shelves so I couldn't mount them on it and I loathe and despise visible feet on furniture.

Materials: Billys in 2 sizes, Kusiner storage baskets, Tjusig rack, Tajma wall clock Description: Since we had used all Ikea furniture in our older son's room and we thought that perhaps someday our 2 boys might share a room, we wanted to continue on with using matching Ikea furniture so it could all be combined for a nice look. I also couldn't bear to waste money on a changing table we would only use for a short time. I started designing and came up with our Ikea Billy changing station. Materials: RAST, 4 meters of wood strips (13 feet), white varnish w. silk gloss, wood wax in cherry tree (Osmo Wood Wax), 3 golden handles, wood puddy Description: What's somehow right is that IKEA's famous budget dresser, known as RAST, looks like a piece from the usual furniture store around, hence pretty plain and like made for an 80s child's room. Fortunately, it is made of pure, solid pine wood, which makes it the perfect canvas for your creativity without further knowledge of carpentry. The RAST hack of Aubrey and Lindsey inspired me to finish my very own RAST

Materials: Lack Side table, Apple G5 access panel Description: I’m always on the lookout for creative ways to repurpose old Mac gear. When our old quad core G5 workhorse breathed it’s last breath I decided to craft a project that combined two of my favorite things: Apple and IKEA. Since in middle school I’ve drooled over the IKEA catalog and dogeared countless pages of their offerings of modern style for the every day consumer

Materials: Lack side table, metal frame Description: For quite a while I've been crushing on side tables with thin metal frames/legs. I like the industrial-chic look, the juxtaposition of the warm wood and metal, and the fact that the streamlined design helps make any small space appear larger. Since furniture stores where I live don't carry these styles, I decided to repurpose my 4 yr old Lack side table to create a similar look.
