Spanish designer Valvanera Arrieta participated in the European Design Labs Master 2012 with Jaime Hayon at the helm, and the Grid Set was her thesis project. Not only is the design dynamic, it’s functional because the set contains 11 pieces that any table could use including: salt shaker, pepper shaker, oil bottle, vinegar bottle, vase, napkin and cutlery containers, trays and pitchers. The geometric-shaped components are made from wood, porcelain, and glass and work together like pieces in a puzzle. The pieces nest together but also work in various configurations depending on what your table needs.
