What does your wallpaper do?

roll-out

Wallpaper has gone to a whole new level. Rollout’s Qrious wallpaper features a series of QR codes, each of which when scanned by your phone takes you to a different website at which you can find a daily dose of inspiration. My first thought it how much more time I would spend on my BlackBerry because of this, followed closely by what will they think of next?

roll-out2

Rollout’s QRious is currently on display at the Bent out of Shape exhibit at Design Exchange in Toronto, You have until October 10th to check it out!

Amazing Outdoor Lighting

jallum-lamp

I absolutely love these lamps. Designed by Yann Kersale in collaboration with Baccarat (ok that explains why they are so pretty!) the Jallum Baccarat Lamps feature a glow stick light form. Perfect for illuminating your walkway or patio, each features an upper crystal cut satin top and an andonized aluminum bottom. They really look stunning, don’t they?

Its going to cost you a pretty penny though. The Jallum Baccarat Lamps are expected to be available by next month and to retail at $3250!!

We posted about Joseph Joseph’s Index cutting board back in 2008, and now they have an updated version called Index Plus that also comes with four matching knives, also color coded to match your index card-shaped chopping boards. Joseph Joseph also has some other clever, dishwasher-safe kitchen items worth noting: Chop2Pot This innovative chopping board uses the latest and smartest technology in polypropylene “living” hinges.

Remember Tetris?

tetris-table

Awhile back we brought you the Nintendo Table and it got a lot of great feedback, so today we are even more excited to show you the Tetris Table. The Tetris Table is perfect for all of us that were once hooked on the popular game. Nostalgia aside, its use of bright colors and varying shapes makes it a great design work all on its own.

The Tetris Table is the work of designer Jared Kohn. Unfortunately just a concept for now, we are hoping this table finds its way into production real soon!
