Copenhagen-based French designer Aurelien Barbry has designed the Fossa sofa for COR . It’s a lounger or a sofa — even a sectional, depending on how to arrange it. Fossa is flexible and functions according to the principle of change: cushion elements find a place in recesses where they are inserted, moved or removed. In doing so, another new piece of furniture is created for relaxing, reading, listening to music, alone, etc

La Couronne - means ‘the crown’ in French.

Designed by Paula Arntzen for Artecnica, La Couronne is made from two tiers of thing copper foil metal. Light reflects through the center to create a ‘burst of color and dimension.’  The rounded shape of La Couronne is made to resemble chandeliers that were hung on palace ceilings.

La Couronne will be available at the end of October.

Tabard is an illuminated coat-hanger designed by Denis Santachiara (whose website is awesome BTW — Mac fans definitely check it out ) for Pallucco . Tabard is a tribute to overcoats of the late 18th century seen from Red Riding Hood fairy tale to Sherlock Holmes adventures. The coat rack is protected by a rigid cloak and the coat hook can turn 120°. While traditional coat hooks are covered by clothes, Tabard on the other hand covers the clothes, protecting them from dust, giving this object an original unusual look

Award-winning British designer Lee Broom presented his fourth collection at this year’s London Design Festival with the launch of a new lighting range: One Light Only. Drawing on Broom’s fashion background, the One Light Only collection is inspired by Art Deco jewelry and fashion photography from the late 1970′s. One Light Only is characterized by a jewel-like gem faceted exterior lighting shell.

Futon ready! Sofa again! Materials: Lilliberg 3 person sofa Description: I bought a Lilliberg 3 seater sofa frame by itself because it was on sale. I had an old metal futon that was falling apart so I used the hinges on the futon to turn the Lilliberg sofa into a Lilliberg futon. First I shortened the legs by a few inches because I like lower furniture but also the futon hinges would add a few inches to the height of the sofa. The futon back and bottom needed a wooden frame to be attached to the hinges.
