The 2011 IKEA catalog is out now, and there are a few pieces that I like in particular. IKEA does such a great job of getting their catalog out early, and getting all of their products available online before they release it. Above, the VIKA VEINE top (white or black-brown) and VIKA MOLIDEN legs combo is pretty sweet. I love that you can fold the top down and hide your mess away.

I absolutely love space-saving designs, especially when they are as smart as this one. The Fold-Out Convertible Desk solves a problem many people have at home- lack of a workspace.

This innovative desk mounts to your wall like a wall cabinet. Simply pull it open when you need a space to work, and fold it back up when you need the floorspace more. It’s a simple concept, but a brilliant one. The cabinet even has shelves for your office supplies And at a reasonable $199, I say why not!
