Not only is this a cool lamp shaped like a drum , but it is sound-activated! A tap of the drum turns on the LED lights inside the snare and another tap turns them off. The sound activation has been designed not to be triggered by ambient noise. The lamp’s heigh can also be adjusted. Caputo is devoted to the product design phase of all of his furniture and uses cubist philosophy to break each larger idea into manageable piece and concepts. Newly added to the M2L Collection , the Swamp is an upholstered fauteuil designed by Michiel van der Kley for Artifort to provide the ultimate relaxing experience. The collection features a one-person armchair, a snug loveseat and a pouffe that makes an ideal footstool or extra seat. The entire Swamp family utilizes spiral springs and foam and is upholstered in two contrasting fabrics — a bonus being that the outside fabric does not need to be a furniture fabric. I think the odd name comes from the “sinking feeling” you get when you sit down in the chair.
