We have a clue about Furniture

Sometimes I have to post something- not because I like it but because I can’t believe it. The Relaxing Cart Chaise Chair from designer Onur Mustak Cobanli is certainly one of these things. It’s design is undoubtedly creative, but I have to ask why. Why make a lounge chair out of a shopping cart? Maybe it’s to inspire daydreaming of that next shopping trip or that one day you might win a million dollar shopping spree. Either way, check out more unique work from OMC design studio here.

Admittedly a bit strange, the new Enamored Collection by Dune Furniture looks more like a modern art piece than something you would sit on. But that doesn’t mean we don’t love it!

Dune is a contemporary American furniture design company located in Soho in New York that, for the past decade, has been working with some of the most talented designers from all over the world. Dune is best known for cutting edge design, and the 2010 collection features some of their most unique and exciting pieces yet. They held an opening for the new Enamored collection, a cohesive and colorful set of products created by six renown designers, at Milk Gallery in the Meatpacking district during ICFF. Since I was unable to attend, Dune kindly sent over photos and more information about the show.
