As someone who enjoys wine of both the red and white varieties, I was pretty thrilled to come across the Light Sommelier. An interactive wine bottle and glass, it lights up and dims with different motions. As you pour the wine from bottle to glass, the glass lights up. Tip the glass over and the light dims. The intensity of the light even varies by how much wine you pour. So the more full your glass is, no only the happier you are but the brighter your glass is.

It has created a series of pendant lamps that are made from recycled textile spools. These pendants are available in a variety of colors and have been appropriately named Re + .

In addition to their construction from recycled spools, these pendants also feature LED bulbs, which provide an 85% increase in energy savings over traditional light bulbs.

ONA sent us over two lamps from their collection, Luzzle and Chromosoma. The first lamp, Luzzle, is designed by Ana Blay and it’s integrated by several modules in a jigsaw puzzle shape that can be fitted in different ways to achieve the desired shape. This little birdie from Mo Man Tai takes Twitter back quite a few years, back to when people used to write love notes. I’m not saying that people don’t still write love letters, but there was a time when they were more of a big deal. In this time of “twittering” it’s a great gift to tell someone something in the “old-fashioned (romantic) way.” This cute little bird-shaped love note holder is laser-cut from different metal leftovers. Called “Tweet,” it is made from 3- to 5-mm stainless steel or aluminium, but you can’t choose because you’re gonna get whatever metal is left over at that time
