It probably isn’t the most comfortable seat out there, but at least it looks utterly fabulous.
Designed by Samuel Ben Shalom for Talents Design House, this beautiful modern armchair is a limited edition of 22 pieces. Known as the Mad Cow, it is made of a combination of fiberglass and resin and its painted in high gloss car paint.
It’s unique shape and bold design are captivating and gorgeous. The high gloss finish is to die for!
Wouldn’t you love a Mad Cow in your home? Yes, please! I wouldn’t let anyone near it, though.

I’ve really, really, really been trying to be good and healthy when it comes to eating. I was doing so well without carbs until they sucked me back in again. Pizza, pasta, semolina rolls, bagels – why are you so good yet so bad?
Anyway, I’m back on the no-carb wagon, so I’m searching for different ways to curb my cravings. While searching the produce section at the grocery store, I saw a giant bag of kale and decided I was going to jump on the kale chip bandwagon. They’re quick, easy, pretty delicious and WAY better than a bag of Lays. This was my first batch, with a second one in my very near – like in the next hour – future, so it was a bit of a practice round. The second batch I plan on leaving in the oven for a bit longer because the crispier ones have been my favorite ones.
Here’s how you can make them on your own:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop kale in to smaller pieces. [If you cheat and use the bag like I did, there isn't much chopping necessary. In fact, I did no chopping whatsoever.] Arrange kale in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil or cooking spray. Sprinkle with desired herbs and/or spices – I used only black pepper but I’m thinking a little garlic powder or crushed red pepper flakes will also be good. Pop sheet in oven, bake for about 10-15 minutes until desired crispiness is achieved. Let cool and enjoy!
Have you made your own kale chips? Did you add any fun spices?

Now it’s the time on Design Milk when we dance . I couldn’t help myself! Schprokets is a gear-shaped lighting fixture designed by Christopher Moulder that uses no wires or sockets, but instead uses low-voltage bulbs that give off a halo-like glow. Moulder has created a structure that not only looks like a turning gear, but it functions as both the light and the socket. “I wanted to create a piece with no wires or sockets, so I started experimenting with low voltage bulbs,” Moulder explains. “Low voltage means the fixture doesn’t have to be insulated.

Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana created an innovative design that will make you re-think the kitchen. Shaping Silestone® by Campanas is a modular unit for the kitchen that mimics the way a Swiss Army knife works. It has three main elements, or wings, that each incorporate a function for the kitchen – a worktop, a stove, and a sink and table. So instead of having many components being brought into a kitchen, you have one single piece that houses much of what you need

Chances are if you live anywhere near a city you see those spiraled cables attached to electricity and telephone poles and they’re just what inspired Mariana Aguila to design a rocking seat called CFE . Those cables are the lifeline that provides every city with power, phone lines, and other resources and most of the time, we don’t even think about them. No doubt this design will have you looking at them differently in the future and actually taking notice. Made from three different sized powder-coated metal tubes that are joined together, the seat can be used flat or to rock back and forth on. Photos by Karla Agis and Mariana Aguila
