In the BKLYN DESIGNS booth at ICFF I spotted these cool architectural birdhouses by IMAKE Studio . Made in either cedar or mahogany in the USA, these modern birdhouses were originally designed at the request of a client. Developed specifically for small birds like wrens, finches, chickadees, nuthatches, and titmice, there is also a wire mesh “ladder” on the interior to aid in first flight operations of the young chicks. Get cozy with the stONE and tONE Collections from fivetimesone.
Although they make look like giant stones, they are actually pillows! Made from 100% Merino wool, the pillows from the stONE and tONE collections are handmade and hypoallergenic. The Merino wool allows the pillows to breathe without collecting dirt.
The pillows within the tONE collection are shown in the first image above. They are available in a variety of colors and tones and filled with polyester fibers.
The stONE collection consists of more stone-like products, hence the name! They are offered in several sizes and colors, and are filled with high density foam.

Inspired by Moorish, Art Deco, and other styles of architecture, as a whole the series creates quite an impressive imaginary city. Each piece in the collection is available in eight different colors that go from a clean white to anthracite, as well as different tonalities of grey, green and yellow. It can be flipped to be used as a dining chair, reading chair, lounge chair or deck chair.
An ergonomic piece, the Triwing chair is built to absorb the impact of those who sit on it.
The Triwing is designed by Marco Hemmerling, an interior and product designer based out of the Netherlands.
