The newest vessel from CraftedSystems is made from all-natural, vegetable-tanned saddle leather, is 23.5″ x 6″ and is waterjet cut and handwoven by the women at the YWCA of Portland in collective “healing” fashion. New takes on the traditional floor lamp are the Rug Lamp and the Side Lamp. Made of baby bull skin and goat skin, these lamps are designed by Bina Baitel as part of the Under My Skin Collection.

Under My Skin is Bina Baitel’s first collection that was on display at the NextLevel Galerie, a Paris-based gallery that focuses on artists and designers with a cross-disciplinary approach. Both pieces were on display in the Galerie until the beginning of November. They were made as limited edition pieces.
