It’s certainly getting warmer, but isn’t it fitting that these snowflake tables would be released this year, a record year for snowfall ? Designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Offecct , the snowflake tables come in varying heights. The best part? Every table has its own unique random computer generated pattern, designed especially for you. Just like real snowflakes, no two patterns are alike! © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook More Milk: Art Milk | Dog Milk

Imagine a side table that’s not only perfect for holding your lamp, but has one built in! That’s what you get with the Accueil Lamp & Tray Table from designer Arnaurd Lapierre. In addition to a smart all-in-one design, the Accueil also has a pretty cool look with its simple use of multiple circles in a way that really catches the eye. So whether you think this takes the fun out of choosing your own décor or is a simple solution to both your lighting and table needs, this smart design is certainly one that deserves some attention.

Like the cool Sony Fusion I wrote about a few weeks ago, the Sony Sound Lounge also combines several functions into one useful and chic piece of furniture. A bench and a CD player in one, this unique design by Sharifah Nasser is certainly something that deserves a second look here today.
At first I was thinking “cool idea but who still buys CDs?!” A bit more research revealed though that the Sony Sound Lounge is also MP3 compatible, which makes more sense. To operate this music playing bench, simply slide the glass tray and then turn it on. From there you can control your settings from a touch screen menu. See more here.

Rebecca Lonergan spent many years in high tech staffing in the Silicon Valley, including stints as the head of the staffing departments for both eBay and Google. She had always worked creatively making jewelry and mosaic tile art as hobbies. In 2003, she and her husband David decided to live more creatively on a full-time basis. They started modwalls® as a result of their own difficulty in finding modern and colorful tile for their home projects. Both had backgrounds in high tech, so they knew that they could bring a traditionally brick and mortar retail experience online.
