Technically, I’m not being blinded by any light. But I would like to be!
Blinds are something that I constantly struggle with. I open all of them every morning and close them every night. Sometimes, I find a few of them closed during the day [by my handsome fiance!] and it makes me crazy! But what makes me crazier is that when I open a few of them, half of the panel still stays closed. Yeah, I know – I can’t figure it out either!
Actually, I can. When we first moved in, we kept the cheaper plastic blinds that the previous owners had left us. Our intention was to replace them later down the road, and I think that time is growing nearer. At least I hope it is!
The problem is – what type of blinds do we go with? We definitely need made to measure blinds, because our windows are all different shapes and sizes, which I guess everyone’s are! But still – do we go with wood blinds or the roller kind? There are just so many to choose from!
What about you – do you have a blind dilemma in your home? How do you plan or how have you solved it?

You may remember when we featured Zbigniew Strzebonski’s Loft Chair back in 2011. Well now the MODESTWORK designer is back with a new collection called Loft evo’ , which includes a chair, a coffee table, and side table. Made from bent steel bars, the collection features simple, skinny lines that are formed and shaped in unusual and curvy ways. Learning from the original Loft chair, the manufacturing process has been simplified making the furniture more accessible.

Materials: Lack TV stand, four mid-century legs, wall pop stickers (orange), plywood, foam board Description: I submitted the Fullen Bar hack a while ago, and since I am never satisfied with my living room, this week I decided to tackle my lack TV stand. I recently “inherited” some mid-century furniture legs which I used to replace the short, chunky lack legs. NEW LEGS – The lack TV stand particle board was not strong enough to hold the screws for the new legs so I had a half inch thick plywood board cut to 54″x18″. – I attached the legs to the corners of the board, making a bench. – I then attached the Lack TV stand to the plywood bench with three inch screws.

Materials: 3x Vika Amon tabletops 1x Galant table legs (only the table legs not the tabletop), 1x Chipboard (it should be a bit smaller than the size of the three tabletops) Description: Why are we hacking? We are a new company in Denmark and needed some furniture to fill our office. As a entrepreneurial company it was not necessary to have expensive designer furniture filling up our office, however, we would like some good looking furniture that fulfills our needs.
