Amy Sia  is an Australian born fashion designer who moved to London two years ago to pursue a career in textile print design. Her dreamy, painterly artwork combined with her signature bold use of color has quickly caught the attention of many major design magazines, as well as Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. We’re seriously enamored with her pillows, and created palettes with Colourlovers for three of them for this week’s CMYLK .

It seems like I never have a free day to spend endless hours sunken into the couch watching lame television and reading crappy magazines and websites. Luckily, yesterday was free enough for me to do just that and it was absolutely wonderful.

Although my sofa isn’t as plush and cushiony as those above, it’s almost there. And I’m pretty sure that when we were looking at sofas, soft and plush was a main criteria with lazy days in mind. I wonder if that was the same idea for the designers/homeowners in the images above. Now that’s it’s Monday morning and time to get back into the grind, I’ll be daydreaming of my sofa and these here for the rest of the day!

Serie FW , designed and produced by Tommaso Bistacchi and Giovanni Pappalardo, is a family of stools and benches made of felt and wood. They were recently presented in Milan. The collection consists of all stool, two seats bench, four seats bench up to bar stool and temporary seats made of a simple wood structure and soft felt bands that are wound over the exterior. The woven felt not only creates a seat, but also a place to store magazines, newspapers or the remote control. Materials: Lack table Description: I gessoed the table completely then applied torn bits of paper from magazines, ads, show tickets, bus tickets, letters, stamps, a few scraps of handmade papers I had lying around, junk mail, you name it, using a matt acrylic medium. Young Belgian designer Pieter Desmijter has created a table for math lovers. Reminiscent of the square root sign, the table features a cubby perfect for storing magazines. While the table looks hard, it’s actually coated in foam so you can comfortable sit on it, too.
