The Archiquarium (and the Archiquarium II) is a seriously stylish fish tank. I think this is what happens when your fish graduate from the fish hotel . Made by Swedish manufacturer Akvarie-Leasing in collaboration with Orrefors Glass Factory and designed by Karl-Oskar Ankarberg from Karl-Oskar Designstudio , this aquarium is for serious modern architecture lovers. The table is made from ash and the aquarium in 8-mm glass with a Corian® facade. Paddle is a collection of adjustable LED task lights designed by Benjamin Hubert for Italian lighting manufacturer Fabbian launching in Euroluce during Salone next month. Paddle was inspired by the 360 degree movement of a canoe blade through water, therefore the lamp has a multitude of functional uses. To allow for maximum usability in a variety of working environments. The high brightness LED light source and capacitive touch control is contrasted with a tactile range of material to soften the technology and create a more human range of products

Tuck yourself in the cozy Col-Letto Bed and then unroll yourself out in the morning. Normal sleepy-time terminology takes a different connotation with the Col-Letto Bed. The soft foam frame of the Col-Letto Bed folds up to tuck you in to a quiet and comfy sleep, or it unrolls and attaches to velcro to bring in open air, light and noise.
Designed by Nusa Jelenec for Italian furniture manufacturer Lago, the Col-Letto Bed is inspired by the collar of a turtleneck. The two-toned bed frame is available in a variety of colors to suit your bedroom decor. Matching nightstands that roll down or stay straight up are also available from Lago.
What do you think? Would you enjoy sleeping in the Col-Letto Bed?

Italian designer Eugenia Minerva has created Petalo , a modern valet for Czech manufacturer Ton . Surprisingly, this submission comes just a few days after I posted the very first modern valet here on Design Milk. Created with the wood bending technique, Petalo is a very functional coat hanger: whilst looking simple and smart, in fact, provides much more space than a classical silent servant. It reminds me of a Thonet chair . © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings , Style & Fashion | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook More Milk: Art Milk | Dog Milk
