Materials : Abstrakt 18″ x 39″ door (as is) $12.00; Vika Oleby (as is) 4 for $6.00; Non-Ikea items: Waddel top plate $2.00 x4, Screw, bolt, insert nuts & gorilla glue $12.00 Description : I built this as my laptop desk back in 2006 or 07′. I can’t remember exactly when. Now it’s my printer station. In order to safely secure legs to Abstracts 3/4″ thickness, I had to use insert nuts & gorilla glue. Because I purchased the Vika Oleby legs (as is), there was not any extra hardware.

UK-based, Australian-born designer Jay Watson launched his Linger a Little Longer table and bench set at 100% Design . With a thermochromatic finish, the table and benches respond to the heat of your body, and any plate, mug or other serving piece that touches its surface. It creates a “watermark” that stays grayish until it cools back to room temperature

Would you be able to live in a home with a room decorated completely in one color? Or is it just a look that you love but would never consider replicating?
I think I fall in the second category. I love the idea of a monochromatic room – it would be far less daunting to decorate, I think. Kind of like an “anything goes” approach – as long as all of your anythings are the same color!
While I love the idea of keeping the floors and the walls similar colors, I love the red room with bright white walls decorated in only red wall fixtures. And the red floors with layered red carpets. Now that’s fun.
But could I live with it? Maybe I could… What about you? The real question is – what color would you choose to do an entire room in? Of course I love the pink, but my boyfriend probably wouldn’t!

Hello and happy Fall Friday! Does anyone have a fun weekend planned?
Since I have come down with a nasty cold, I’ll be spending the weekend on my couch – wishing my couch was this awesome Cupcake sofa shown above!
Hopefully, I’ll have enough energy by Sunday to make this Braised Pork as previously planned!
I may waste all that energy convincing my boyfriend to buy me one of these faux beauties.
Anyway, wouldn’t you love to stay in this beautiful home with rooms decorated in Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel? You’ve gotta check it out!
If you have a scarf addiction, here’s a great way to store them.
And finally, a fun paper mache DIY for you to try.
What good reads did you bookmark this week??
