Now in its second year and supported by the Society for British Interior Design , Tramshed is a boutique selection of interior products in a pop-up style location. Here are the highlights… Right by the entrance and getting things started on the right note were these wonderfully tactile ceramics from Karen Morgan . I love the juxtaposition between their soft pliable appearance and the actual nature of the material. Next up, Benjamin Hubert ‘s pod, which is variously describes as “a large privacy chair” and a “little room in room solution.” Either way, it looks like a great place to curl up with a book and hide away from the world. Following the success of the Martini Cocktail set, which was commissioned by Wallpaper* magazine and acquired for the V&A ’s permanent collection, Miranda Watkins has now launched Gleam Bar, the full barware collection

There are so many art-related items on Etsy. SO many. Inspired by a gallery wall of art, I had to narrow it down to Giclee prints for this round up or else I would have been on Etsy all week. From the nine images above, you can tell there’s a great, diverse collection. For those of you wondering what the heck giclee is, it’s a printing process that uses archival inks. It is often used in museums and by artists duplicating paintings or other textural work.
Even though I like the all-giclee gallery above, I think I would branch out a little in my own home. Adding different textures to the wall, such as paintings or shadow boxes would bring in some texture. As would a mirror, as seen in the gallery wall below.

I’m a big fan of Crestview Doors’ mid-century doors and was overjoyed when I found out they were releasing a series of decorative wood dividers called Redi-Screens . Launching in October at the 2011 Sunbelt Builders Show in Austin, Texas, the screens are carved from stain-grade maple and bound by hand into a maple frame. There are three standard widths and two heights, as well as a fantastic selection of seven initial patterns. The dividers can be installed as sliding doors, pocket doors, articulating doors, room partitions, room dividers, hanging or mounted screens

After last week’s Friday Five with Michael Graves I figured it would be all downhill from there, but not so! I am excited to have Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon as this week’s F5 guest. Hayon’s wide client base spans diverse functions and mediums, including domestic furniture for b.d. ediciones, Fritz Hansen ( FAVN sofa ), Bernhardt Design Established and Sons, Moooi, Gaia and Gino, among others

We’ve seen furniture in the shape of letters , but never lamps that look like punctuation marks ! Tabisso , who also make an alphabet of chairs , has created over 20 punctuation marks in lamp form to accent your room with just the right statement. Maybe your room is bold (-), demanding (.), curious (?), or excited (!)…? What would you choose?
