Tag-it! by Ham&Cheese
November 12th, 2010 — Design
Tag-it! is a gadget designed by Ham&Cheese , a studio formed by Jordi Gisbert and Verónica Coloma who are product and graphic designers. The idea Tag-it! came from — well — ideas. Ham&Cheese realized that sometimes “the best ideas wake up when the person is about to fall asleep.” Therefore, they created a lamp with a soft light that illuminates a light bulb-shaped note pad on which you can write your genius idea. The next morning, you can tear out your idea and bring it with you to the next staff meeting or your office

Skim Milk: Ace by A-cero
November 11th, 2010 — Design
Just to be clear, A-cero has produced some of the most modern beauties the architecture world has ever seen. Headquartered in La Finca, A-cero is spearheaded by Joaquin Torres, and was first established in 1996. Fifteen years later, the firm has four global offices and a new furniture line with Sancal . The name of this furniture line, Ace , is almost as simple as the design itself. The sofa definitely transfers over a lot of the architectural modernism seen in A-cero’s buildings

Studio Ve
November 8th, 2010 — Design
Shay Carmon and Ben Klinger have officially joined forces as Studio Ve , recently designing a series of simple but unique shelves. The materials are very basic — wood and steel, with the emphasis on how the books are placed on the shelf. Therefore, the shelves act more as exhibits rather than simply a place where books go to rest. Domina Shelf With no book supporters on the shelf, books tend to fall and create a domino effect.
