Materials: “RAST”, wood placemat, meter tape, pencil, jigsaw, some scissors and a big mug Description: I was looking for a vanity unit but at first everything was too deep and cost too much money. As RAST height and depth (70×62 cm) and price (29 € ) were quite what I was looking for I decided to hack it. To do this you’ll have to buy a RAST chest of drawers and a wooden placemat and you’ll need to use a precision saw, a jigsaw would be a lot better tho. 1: Build your RAST without putting the back side, and without the drawers inside (built them separately). Belgium-based designer Bram Vanderbeke’s new desk called Woven is an exploration of the idea that desks need to be not only functional but also a place of concentration and privacy. It’s hard to concentrate these days – between diminishing attention spans and the open concept workplace, our focus is constantly at war with our surroundings.Vanderbeke’s solution is to create a personal workspace that hides these external things that keep us distracted, and yet doesn’t exclude us from interacting with our surroundings. It’s like having a nice, little nest for your work.

A white headboard can really brighten up a bedroom, and adds texture when it is tufted as these two headboards above. I love tufted headboards as it is, but there’s something bright and fresh about them in white.
Yet, these two white tufted headboards have two very different looks. The first headboard is straight and simple, accessorized with white modern decor.
The second headboard is a bit more eclectic, with a unique shape that is complemented by Asian-inspired decor.
