We wrote about the Emerson Dollhouse by Brinca Dada a while back, but we are so smitten, we wanted to show you the other modern models, as well as their line of lovely little furniture . Real people would be lucky to have such well-designed sofas and such. Le Nuage is a suspended handmade light that resembles a cloud. Made from polyester wadding, each light is one of a kind with its own unique shape. Netherlands-based Wout Wessemius designed the piece to emit functional and ambient light with the use of energy-efficient bulbs

Dutch designer Dennis Parren created the CMYK Lamp for his graduation show from Design Academy Eindhoven. The innovative design uses LED technology to project cyan, magenta, and yellow onto the ceiling and walls. The lamp is shaped like a graphic outline and casts 3D shadows which he discovered only by accident. The experimental lamp sets out to display the mystery of light and what it can be. Currently on display in the Transversality Exhibition at Galerie BSL in Paris through February 11, 2012.

I love the Woody lamp by Luca Mazza for SLAMP because of its wood-inspired graphic shade, which is available in white, orange, purple and blue. Talk about skeletons in the closet. Skitch is a not-so-scary, multifunctional hanger that saves space. Who could be frightened of that? This humorous closet accessory by Greek designers Foant and Aliki follows their philosophy of designing things that make them happy. We certainly think dressing up these guys would make cleaning up our clothing-strewn bedrooms a lot more fun

Red Stripe® , the Jamaican beer company, recently teamed up with London-based Japanese sound artist Yuri Suzuki to create a series of cultural projects that celebrate the DIY culture of the brand’s Jamaican roots. Suzuki is best known for his sick homemade music machines including a flute made from an electric kettle and Scalectrix tracks made from old vinyl records.
