Supported by a tubular steel structure, the Lounger is a modern chair mixed with a touch of classicism.

The seat and back of the Lounger is made from varnished walnut plywood, as is the optional footstool for the chair. It can be stained black or lacquered in a variety of colors. The arms, seat and back are upholstered in high quality fabrics or leather, with tons of colors to choose from. Matching metal upholstery buttons add a clean touch to the arms.

Cappellini and Walt Disney Signature present a series of armchairs designed by Studio Dror for Cappellini launching this week during Design Miami 2010. The chair will be on display in the Cappellini/Poltrona Frau Miami Showroom, as an official satellite show of Design Miami from December 2 through December 10, 2010. The range of chairs is inspired by the the digital landscape of the Outlands terrain in the soon-to-be-released Walt Disney Pictures film TRON: Legacy . Each will be individually hand-finished and unique, constructed of composite material consisting of impregnated fiberglass with polyester resin processed with manual layering.
