Heather Lins ( who we wrote about before ) has a new collection of eco-friendly pillows that are based on well-known scientific diagrams. The Science Project Collection is rendered in eco-friendly materials: 100% wool background with Sensuede applique. Sensuede is like ultra-suede but made out of recycled plastic bottles. Stretch is more than a cool chair design, it’s artist Jessica Carnevale’s attempt to bring the exuberance of the fashion world into her designs. Using a simple shape, Jessica experimented with a number of different materials before choosing latex, bungee, and rope, enabling her to use bright colors and enjoy wondrous elasticity. Fun and fabulous, I think Jessica definitely realized her goal of incorporating fashion into furniture.

If you recognize Sebastian Jansson’s name, he is the designer behind the beautiful Habitus stool that we featured and posted about on Deconstruction . He is exhibiting at Salone, and one of the new pieces he has is called the Mec Stool .

Twisted is a series of furniture designed by Philip Michael Wolfson that reflects on the notion of abstractness and function in the interior space. The collection is made entirely of HI-MACS Natural Acrylic Stone and consists of Eruption coffee table, Twisted bar, Twisted desk, Why Not mirror shelf, Split Low Chair and Split High Chair.
