Box 1-7 , created by Finnish designer Pekka Kuivamäki, is one nifty shelving system. Each box fits inside of each other like Russian nesting dolls. Barcelona-based BeaMalevich launched the easily assembled modular shelf to contrast the shape of every other shelf out there. Konnex

Konnex is an innovative shelving system designed by Florian Gloss.

Each set of Konnex includes three basic modules in small, medium and large sizes. Each piece has slits that can be inserted into the side walls of the other cubes to create different arrangements.

Multiple sets of varying sizes can be pieced together to continuously expand on the Konnex shelving unit.

Konnex is in production by Müller Möbelwerkstätten. Designer Florian Gloss is an interior and product designer based out of Germany.

Circula Seating

The name of this new seating system, Circula is derived from the Latin “circulus: the circle.” Circula is a seating system designed by Taurus Design and produced by German brand Brune . In using the circle as their starting point, Taurus has created a circular design that serves as the basis for an unprecedented seating furniture from which there are innumerable possible configurations. Two equal-sized circles constitute the basic design from which a wide range of geometrically formed seating-accommodations can be created. With its design of centric circles, every combination forms a continuous pattern of geometric elements whose singularity is underlined by fine quilting seams.

Dune by Rainer Mutsch

During Vienna Design Week , Rainer Mutsch showed a preview of a new outdoor furniture system for the traditional Austrian manufacturer Eternit called Dune. Dune is a modular furniture system consisting of five combinable modules: each one of them is molded out of an whole fiber cement-panel. Fiber cement is a 100% natural and fully recyclable material for full time outdoor usage. From the designer: With Dune I wanted to tell a story about the materials capabilities, the history of the company and the hand formed production method. The shape of all 5 Dune elements now allows the user to move freely on the objects and to choose an individual seating position according to his or her individual taste.
