Diamond Woods Coffee Tables & Stools by Tesler + Mendelovitch

From the Tel Aviv-based textile duo of Tesler + Mendelovitch comes this line of tables and stools called, Diamond Woods . Sold exclusively through Talents Design Gallery , the collection has a faceted pattern made from their new flexible wood surface material. They almost appear as if they’ve been stretched out like an accordion. Aimed to be mass produced but still handmade, the tables and stools are made from a special foam to keep them lightweight and durable and then covered with various types of wood veneer. Weekly Six: 5.11.12

TGIF!!! Any plans for the weekend? Hopefully the weather forecast is looking lovely in your neck of the woods.

Here’s six things I’ve enjoyed this week:

1) This all mint living room. Would you do it?

2) A little neon makes everything better.

3) Suddenly obsessed with quinoa and scouting out different recipes. What’s your fave?

4) Traditional and modern unite in this acrylic dining table.

5) If you have a pooch, would it hang out in this modern dog house?

6) Show the love in your home with the Love Collection by Joel Escalona.

Happy weekend! What have you found this week? Share in the comments!

Wonderful Winter Whites

Happy First Day of Winter!

How is the weather in your neck of the woods – is it winter-like? It’s been fairly unseasonable in North Jersey the past few days – with warm temperatures and thunderstorms filling the air!

Even still, today marks the first day of winter – the Winter Solstice – so our days won’t be as dark as early as they have been. And even though it’s been warm lately, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t prepare for the cold to come – which is exactly what I’m doing with these cozy winter whites.

These whites have me thinking of cozy beds with knitted comforters and warm faux furs. Can you see yourself running down that bright white hallway and jumping into the coziness?

If you’re not cuddling under the faux fur, then you better stay warm and cozy with some bright white flowers surround by it. I don’t know about you, but I certainly wouldn’t mind staring at that flower arrangement all day. Especially if a huge white feather tree was nearby. Forget Christmas – I’d leave that baby up all winter long!

With furs, feathers, cozy knits and bright whites on my mind – what’s making you think of winter?
