You upload your photos to their site, choose the size of tile you want, the finish (matte or glossy), and they custom-print your image onto industry standard ceramic tiles. Since the tile sizes are what you find in any home improvement store, you can easily use the tiles for any type of home project. Best of all, they look amazing sitting on a shelf or hung on a wall, and they are a nice variation from your basic framed photo. Teeny Tile – 2″ x 2″ (Comes with a self-adhesive magnet!) These Menu Pin Tables are the perfect portable for the Summer. Use them in your yard, a park, or take one to the beach. Simply push them into the ground using the button on top and you’ve instantly got a little side table to hold your drink. Plop down into a folding beach chair with a book and you’re in business. Japanese designer Shinobu Koizumi has made time stand still. In theory, that is. His Moment side/coffee table is an hourglass-sand-shaped structure that’s actually made entirely of sand. Though there is no glass, the form of the sand is still kept as though it were still there. The table reinforces the idea that maybe you should stop and capture this moment of time, whether with a cup of coffee or a book

Sara Ferrari designed this modular sofa, called Baco, for Italian company Deco using 100% natural materials, which is part of the company’s philosophy. The back cushions simply lay on the seat, making everything easy to change and maneuver and they are available in plain or quilted/capitonnè. I’m loving the texture of this Sedici storage unit by Roberto and Stefano Truzzolillo . Made of solid wood, the piece is assembled with cuts of 45 degrees so that the external edges will turn out to simply be thin lines. It reminds me of basket weaving.

Studio Toer , a creative firm based in The Netherlands, recently designed the Spring LED Lamp . The simple fixture features a purple-ish felt shade attached to two flexible, super skinny steel rods. The light is meant to be directional and easily moves around by moving the rods up and down

I love the smartly designed furniture from the Paris-based Kann Design . They work with a mix of designers to create a solid collection of mid-century inspired classics that would work in any style home, especially their Recycled Collection . Designed by the Italian duo Nicola Santini and Pier Paolo Taddei of Avatar Architettura , who happen to specialize in eco-friendly design, these pieces feature a myriad of recycled woods that give them unique character. The varied sizes of the wooden rectangles create a striking pattern, making each design a (functioning) work of art. R40 Sideboard (also pictured above) has ridges on top that can easily contain some of your books or knick knacks.
