Concetto by CaesarStone has collaborated with Phoenix-based Argentinian architect and designer Daniel Germani to create a unique line of furniture. The Concetto collection is handmade from individually cut and set semi-precious stones , and when matched with wood, the combination is warming, textural and dazzling. Daniel really seems to be able to capture and accentuate the raw natural beauty of this stone in each piece. Calouette is a small multidisciplinary design studio located in Michigan run by architect and product designer Michelle Kruzel. They’ve just released a modern perpetual calendar that is marriage of two very different materials, a salvaged timber beam and colorful transparent acrylic. Printed on each acrylic tag is the date, and to mark the current date, simply move the tag forward. You can even mark the acrylic tags with notes or doodles to signify important dates. With this calendar, “moving through the year is a tactile experience, much like crossing out the days on a paper calendar,” says Michelle

David Taylor is a Stockholm-based designer and craftsman who creates commissions and small editions from lighting to furniture. Some of his most recent custom lighting projects are delicately unique. The above two pieces were commissioned by a pair of journalists for their desktops. Both lights are roughly 50 cm high, made by brass tubing with a black nylon flock finish on the feet and polished brass stems
