Tunnels by Noga Berman is a series of pieces that explore our relationship with our furniture by creating nooks and crannies where we can hide parts of our body or our whole selves. From the designer: Just as a cat seeks out hiding places or small spaces to slip into, I wanted to create furniture that can encompass all or parts of the human body. I searched for hiding places within the house, observing children playing “hide and seek” and looking at illustrations in children’s books. I examined dark and private places that can contain the human body (for example: under the bed, behind a curtain, under a hat).

I feel like someone at Joseph Joseph was listening to me the last time I ate edamame and made this bowl especially for me. Probably not the case, but still what a clever idea! Check out all their new items so hot they’re not even up on the website yet! Double Dish Serve snacks in a small dish and hide waste in the collection dish underneath. It’s perfect for olives, shelled nuts and edamame beans. It can also be used as two separate dishes, it’s dishwasher safe and available in three color combinations: white and green, full green, full white. Rotary Peeler A compact triple bladed peeler (with three stainless steel blades: standard blade, soft-skin blade and Julienne blade) the Rotary Peeler has a stainless steel eye-remover and it’s easy to clean (unclipping the case).

This Console Cabinet by Portland, Oregon-based design house Von Tundra is constructed from slats of mill end lumber or reclaimed pallet wood. The process emerged out of necessity to work within the tight budgets of younger clients, but still deliver a piece of quality workmanship to be handed down through generations. It is currently available in domestic walnut, fir, and reclaimed pallet wood, in limited production numbers

Bobby Berk grew up on a small farm in MO, but his heart always belonged to New York City. He began his career in home fashion with Restoration Hardware. His path continued as the Director of Stores for Portico and was then promoted to be the vision of the brand as Creative Director. It was no surprise when Bobby launched his own brand, Bobby Berk Home online in 2006 and, shortly after, his first showroom in the Soho district of New York City followed by his second showroom in the Design District of Miami, Florida.

The Turn the Season rug by Yvette Laduk of YLdesign , which launched at NOW! Maison et Objet , allows you to easily change the seasons inside your home. This reversible rug is printed with a leaf pattern on both sides, one for Spring/Summer and one for Fall — simply flip it over to change seasons. Seems kind of appropriate right now as we get ready for Fall, no?

Pircher , a company from Alto Adige specialized in wooden furniture for indoor and outdoor use, is participating for the first time at the Spoga + Gafa trade fair dedicated to outdoor life, which was held earlier this week. Designed by Alessandro Andreucci and Christian Hoisl for Pircher, the Evergreen collection is part of the ELIT line, a collection of contemporary and versatile furniture in the name of a fluidity of spaces and functions. Evergreen is inspired by the marine environment and characterized by its use of regatta braid — a kind of rope that is used for the mooring lines on boats. Evergreen is versatile and modular, and includes a two-seater sofa, a small padded chair, a coffee table and a daybed, which may be joined together using the rope module and the addition of mounted tables in wood.

Cervo Chair This weekend, Industry Gallery will open Nature/Data , the first solo U.S. exhibition for New York-based Italian designer and architect Antonio Pio Saracino . The works in the exhibition are executed in plywood, metal, carbon fiber and synthetics and abstract from natural forms such as molecules, leaves, blossoms, and crystals. Nature/Data will feature eleven different chair designs, including two newly created for the exhibition: Riccio, a chair with a smooth interior and spiky exterior; and Molecular Bench, a baroque, steel-framed work covered with molecule-shaped recycled wool (both pictured below).
