Flos Wall Piercing Lights

The Flos Soft Architecture Wall Piercing lights caught my eye on Stylepark and I can only imagine the possibilities of this type of lamp. You can create some very artistic and creative patterns using a grouping of these simple ring lights. Also on the Soft Arch site and worth noting is the Boobs light : “we can shape your wildest dreams.” © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook

Col-Letto Bed

Oh, yes, this bed from Lago caught my eye earlier this week and I’m in LUV. The bed features adjustable sides that can act as a headboard, bed cover when guests are over, or even create a cave-like feeling when you’re lying in bed. I also love the nightstands that look like they’ve been unzipped

Corita Rose

If there was a spectrum of tattoo-inspired designs, Ed Hardy would be on one and and Corita Rose on the other. Corita Rose is a British company that designs chairs, sofas, pillows, curtains and fabric all inspired by iconic, graphic designs that range in influence from the medieval to classic tattoo flash art. I like the vibrant colors and fun graphics — I think it could add a pop of fun into any room…maybe starting with just a pillow? Enzo Outdoor Furniture

MN*LS Creative Consultancy was asked to design modular outdoor furniture for the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, after the previous pieces, “Enzis” were destroyed in a fire. Enzo is the next evolution of Enzis, with added resistance to damage and fire-resistant technology. MN*LS consulted with PPAG, the designers of the original Enzis furniture. I really like the stackability aspect of these pieces

Bright Side Lights by Rich Brilliant Willing

This summer, Artecnica is introducing new innovations that create, reflect, embody, and transform the concept light. It’s a fresh direction that accurately captures their latest sentiments (and the design industry overall): “Look up, look forward. Good things are on the way.” Part of the collection are these Bright Side hanging lights by Rich Brilliant Willing , which each offer a message of optimism printed on the top of the light. The phrases on the glass are “Always look on the bright side of life,” You can’t have light without darkness,” and “In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary” — messages that share the theme of optimism that underlies Artecnica’s newest collection
