Ivy

Ivy isĀ  a set of modular shelving that allows you to create a custom shelving arrangement.

The collection consists of the three units above, which can be situated in whichever way the user desires. Two examples are shown in the images below.

The goal of the Ivy shelving unit is to make a unit that easily adapts to lifestyle changes that occur within our everyday lives.

Each piece of the Ivy shelving connects together using keyhole fasteners, which is also how they connect to the wall.

Ivy is designed by Paris Lowitz, an Industrial Design student that is about to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

MWC and JWC2

MWC is an abbreviation for minimal wood chair. It is a modern dining chair completely made of wood with a moveable backrest for added comfort.
The MWC is inspired by Shaker Furniture and the Eames Minimal Chair.

The JWC2 stands for just wood chair – and 2 because its the second version of the chair.

As the name states, it is a stackable dining chair made from just wood with a dowel-welding technique.

The MWC and JWC2 are designed by Florian Hauswirth.

San Andreas

The San Andreas Coffee Table is a modern coffee table inspired by the tectonic fault in California that runs between the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate.

It is made from solid oak wood with a split down the middle in a zig zag design that replicates the fault. The table opens to a lime green interior that allows for ample storage.

The San Andreas Coffee Table is designed by Ricardo Garza of Mexico.

Melted Light

The Melted Light is a soft pendant light made using a unique technique.

Designer Marie Retpen is specialized in blown glass, which is how she made the Melted Lights. The image below shows that no two are alike.

The Melted Lights can be arranged in a varying group to see the artistic differences, or as a single pendant light. They are available in blue or black glass, or in another color by request.

Marie Retpen is a designer and maker specialized in blown glass that is based out of Denmark.

Andiron

Andiron is a modern take on the traditional andirons that hold logs in place within a fireplace.

Designed by the Iron Design Company, the modern Andiron is made of one long piece of steel molded into a unique shape.

You can arrange the Andiron to face whichever way you prefer – if you want the loop to be shown or if you want to turn it horizontally for a different look.

Custom sizes of the Andiron can be made if necessary.

The Iron Design Company was founded by metal-worker Marc Maiorana.

V-Two Sofa

The V-Two Sofa is a uniquely modern sofa with transforming functionality that makes it an ideal sofa for small spaces.

Framed by birch wood, the V-Two Sofa is upholstered in two-toned fabric. It has angles created by its geometric design that allow for minimal storage or display of accent pieces or accessories.

If ample space is available, the seats of the V-Two Sofa can be pulled apart to reveal a small connecting coffee table.

The V-Two Sofa is design by Juil Kim of Designjoo, a Korean-based design company.

Cubes of Color

Cubes of Color is a series of modern lighting cubes that bring colorful light to the table.

Six colors of plexiglass shades are available – ruby red, emerald green, turquoise, yellow, royal blue and clear frosted. Each has matching hand-cut glass rods, except for the clear frosted which has royal blue rods.

With a 1 1/4″ inch frosted base, the Cubes of Color appear to be floating on the glowing light.

The Cubes of Color are hand-assembled and designed by Andarina Designs.

Form Follows Function

The Form Follows Function Sofa is a modern step away from the ordinary cushioned sofa.

Designed by Daan Mulder, the Form Follows Function Sofa was inspired by the “craze for organic liquid and forms.” Mulder’s “aim was to create a sofa where all functions arise out of one current line.” ( http://www.daanmulder.eu/FFF_bank_11.html)

The Form Follows Function Sofa is made from three steel plates that are each 1.5 millimeter thick. A silver paint gives the modern sofa its final look.

Daan Mulder is based out of Amsterdam and wears many design hats, including carpenter, architect, interior designer and furniture designer.

Ofo is an extremely modern chair that also provides a convenient area for storage.

Perfect for small spaces that need multi-tasking furniture, the Ofo chair has a unique and captivating design.

Ofo is designed by Solovyov Design, which is comprised of Maria and Igor Solovyov, industrial and product designers based out of Belarus.

Made of polycarbonate, the Miss You Chair is available in a variety of color combinations to choose from. The durable polycarbonate enables the Miss You Chair to maintain impact resistance and also enables the chair to be shatterproof. Suitable for home and commercial use, the Miss You Chair is also conveniently stackable.
