The Stink Tree

stink-tree

The Stink Tree is a unique and interesting modern coffee table, made of recycled MDF and veneer construction. It is available with a variety of finishes for the table top including walnut, maple, cherry and oak.

stink-tree2

The Stink Tree is designed by Dylan Gold, who’s website describes the Stink Tree as the following:

“The Stink Tree is shrouded in mystery. What we do know about it is that it may or may not reference an actual tree, it’s quite functional (though if you’re nervous about Sunday morning coffees, a glass top is an easy solution) and very heavy. This not a piece for your rickety treehouse, tempting as that self-referencing post-modern placement might be.”

Ivy Rugs

The Ivy Rugs are inspired by ivy that grows up high on the sides of buildings.

Ivy Rug 1 and Ivy Rug2 are both created by soft fabric in an ivy-like pattern to represent such an aspect of nature and to create a new atmosphere that connects the outside with the inside. To give the rugs flexibility and enable them to crawl up the wall, certain areas are connected by fibers that allow movement.

The Ivy Rug1 and Ivy Rug2 are designed by Heera Jeong, a furniture designer from Korea.

Would you use these beautiful rugs as an actual rug or as wall decor?

Yes, Sir!

Sir is a modern armchair with traditional flair.

With a curved, wooden frame made from veneered rosewood, Sir has the common modern attribute of bent wood. It’s the tufted leather that leans a bit more to the traditional side!

However, this beautiful chair is also available in smooth upholstery. The upholstery is shape-retaining polyurethane.

Sir is designed by Carlo Colombo for Nube, an Italian furniture company.
