We have a clue about Furniture

One of the restaurants on a cruise I was on a few years ago had several high back dining chairs, and there was something so fun and mystical about them. I don’t know if it’s because they seem so unsuspected, but since then, I love a good high back chair – whether its in a dining room or living room.

They’re just fun to sit in, right? In an Alice in Wonderland kind of way, if that makes any sense. I would love to incorporate high back chairs into a seating area in a dramatic living room one day. I like the outdoor chairs as well, though, and could definitely spend endless afternoons getting lost in them.

Designer Yuval Tal has made a series of tables from wooden dowels wrapped with a metal ring called Chopped . The metal ring holds the wood pieces together so there’s no need for glue or screws. Made in three sizes, the tables’ surfaces have colored parts, inspired by color blindness tests. Each table has a uniquely designed top with grey, orange or green paint and lacquer.
