Inspired by the willow tree with its compact trunk, Willow , by Louise Hederström for Nola , is a planter with multiple uses. The planter has openings coming out of its base that simulate branches in which you can grow a variety of plants. The opening at the top can either hold more plants or a wooden disc that could be used as a side table or to turn Willow into an extra seating. I like how you can have your fill of nature in any city setting, even a small balcony or patio.

Materials: 3 Expedit Units, two sheets of plywood, five 4 x 4’s, 5 metal ties, 10 metal brackets, king-sized sheet, staple gun. Description: We had a really hard time trying to find a platform for our Cal-King mattress that would afford us the kind of storage we needed for our small two-bedroom condo in Southern California. Most of the platform storage beds for sale were prohibitively expensive. We had seen a few people make smaller beds on this site using the Expedit bookshelves, so we decided to give it a go ourselves. The Portuguese company Matrioskas is back with a new collection of oak furniture that has a bit of a vintage/mid-century feel. The pieces are wood based, as most of their work is , with pops of bright colors that make them even more unique. Designed by L.E.FT , a New York based design collective, Bird House is a limited edition piece that was created from 2500 empty stray brass bullets that were collected from areas in Lebanon where hunting occurs. The object is meant to reflect the uncertainty of life during the tough times that war brings. The piece is visually stunning with the texture that the bullets create. Designed by Baldessari e Baldessari for Starpool, the Star_Lit daybed was originally created for relaxing at a high-end spa but they’ve also made it as a chaise lounger for your home. The daybed appears massive in size but the olive wood cylinders on the ends have a pattern carved into them that breaks up the heaviness and lets light pass through. The pattern in the wood is in the shape of olive leaves. The cylinders are also meant to act as storage for pillows and blankets and whatever else you need to get your relaxation on. Whether in a spa or in a residence, this piece does look cozy and I would definitely be interested in taking a nap on it
